Yoshiharu Studio released the iPhone/iPad app “AppStops” on November 12th. The price is 800 yen.

AppStops, an iOS app that limits app and web usage time, has been released

This app blocks the use of apps according to pre-set conditions and schedules. When you open a blocked app, a special warning screen appears and you cannot operate it. The reason for the block is also displayed, and there is no extension button.

The basic functions are “Time of Day,” which switches the blocking status of an app based on a start and end time, and “Limit,” which blocks the app as soon as the set usage time is reached. Optional features include “Turn off the stopper during the time period,” which blocks the app at all times but allows it to be used as an exception, and “Per week,” which allows you to control usage time over a longer period of time.

By utilizing iOS’s “Focus Mode Filter,” you can block apps more effectively. On devices with iOS 18 or later, it also supports manual blocking from the Control Center or lock screen, and you can switch the block state just like turning on and off the light or airplane mode.
